Book: The Battle of Mogadishu, Eds. Eversmann and Schilling.
Muffin: Strawberry-Mango.
Punchline: Nope.
Let's start this by saying that I'm a huge Firefly fan, and that I am waiting for Serenity, the movie, with a mixture of excitement and not a small amount of trepidation.
Through my normal blog/web surfing, I came across these. [Note: Quicktime Video Clips. Downloading them would probably work best.]
I would warn you against spoilers...if they WERE spoilers. They're not. They have nothing to do with the movie, exactly. Or the TV series, exactly. If I had to call them something, I'd call them "backstory." Stuff that makes the world richer, but really doesn't tell you anything exactly.
The interesting thing about them is that they were found without any announcement or fanfare in various places around the web. Fan sites. Video Archive sites. Random places. No explanation accompanied them, no credit taken.
It's obvious who made them...but the idea is so cool...
If you're a Firefly fan at all, just watch them.
If you're not...go to Amazon and pick up the boxed set today, and watch them this weekend. You won't be sorry.
