The other day, my four year old nephew Ethan was playing in the living room with a map puzzle of the world.

After a few minutes of playing quietly, he wandered into the kitchen from the living room and said to the assembled group of adults: "There's a country called Chad. I have a friend named Chad."

His mother said "Yes, isn't that interesting?" Whereupon Ethan turned around and went back into the living room to keep playing.

After a few more minutes, he came back into the kitchen and said "There's also a country called Jordan. I have a friend named Jordan."

His mother said "That's very observant of you!" And Ethan nodded and went back into the living room.

A few minutes later, Ethan walked into the kitchen and declared "I don't have a friend named Saudi Arabia."

:)

Perhaps you could give Ethan a teddy rabbit and name him Saudi Arabia.
