A neat, private campground in the Catskill Mountains with separate areas for recreational vehicles and tenting. The Willowemoc River that runs through the campground is good for wading and fishing. To swim, you can drive for 10 minutes to the lake at Mongaup Pond State Park.

The campground has strict policies about noise: no radios with external speakers are allowed (walkmans with headsets are OK); quiet hours are from 11 PM to 8 AM; and no check-ins are permitted after 10 PM so that campers aren't disturbed by people setting up tents late at night.

Driving directions: Take NY State Route 17 West to exit 96. Turn left onto DeBruce Road and follow it through DeBruce. It turns into Willowemoc Road. At Conklin Hill Road, 7.5 miles from Route 17, turn right onto Conklin Hill Road (you'll see a sign at the intersection pointing towards Covered Bridge Campsite).
