Time of Appearance: June and July

Coastal lobsters are concentrated in rocky areas where shelter is readily available. Prefers dens and burrows during the days, coming out to forage on slow-moving invertebrates and decaying material at night. One pincer is enlarged and thickened for crushing, the other is fine and used for shredding and cutting food.

Coloration: Dark green, blue at joints and orange at tips of apendages.
