Kent Jones, the film critic who tried unsuccessfully to get HONEYMOON into
Rotterdam, E-mailed me today to tell me that he had recommended me to the
Gen Art Film Festival, a New York-based festival in its second or third
year. I don't know much about the festival, but I found out that their
opening film last year was Tim Blake Nelson's THE EYE OF GOD, which I liked.
Anyway, I appreciate that Kent is acting on the film's behalf.
The video transfer session to repair last week's problems has been moved
from Thursday to Friday--Nice Shoes is swamped with the Super Bowl trade.
