Married by the Avis Lady

We arrive in Seattle

Eric and I had an uneventful flight from Newark Airport to Seattle. Everything went just fine. Eric and I booked seats so there was an empty one between us. When the third seatmate came, he didn't mind taking the aisle. Most people don't, apparently.

The bags were taking their time making their way to the carousel, so we saved some time by getting our Avis car rental first. At Avis, if you're gay, they don't charge you for listing your boyfriend as the other driver, so along with our Costco membership and Lucy-Desi Museum memberships, we have another piece of paper binding us.

Since we arrived in time for dinner, we drove straight to my cousin's house, where she was having a pre-wedding dinner. So our family got to meet the family of the groom, all of whom were very nice.

Afterward, we got a bit lost trying to find our Motel 6, which was carefully hidden near an OfficeMax.
