Yafo


A walk around the old city.

Yafo (Jaffa) is the old city next to Tel Aviv, and was an Arab city. I think the area outside of the stone town is Arab, but I am told that the old part, seen here , is full of art galleries and bohemian types. And probably yuppies. Yafo is also a great place to see the Mediterranean and Tel Aviv. The municipality is now known as Tel Aviv-Yafo. This is the most densely populated area in Israel and also the most cosmopolitan.
