• AlarmClock 2.0
  AlarmClock 2.0 goes far beyond the functionality of the built-in clock feature of the Newton OS 2.0 by adding a significantly louder and more annoying alarm sound. Full screen stop and snooze buttons makes it easy to use AlarmClock 2.0. In addition, users can programmatically stop or snooze AlarmClock using the Newton's power switch. Users can configure the snooze to any delay; also, AlarmClock will automatically turn itself off after a user preset time, thus saving valuable battery life.

  AlarmPak captures the Reminder messages from the Dates application and handles these message much better than the Newton does. AlarmPak lets you set the volume, beep, and frequency of alarms. AlarmPak also remembers an unlimited number of reminder messages, so you don't have to. AlarmPak 2.0 (for Newton OS 2.0) include SoundPak! SoundPak add additional sounds to AlarmPak. SoundPak use very little heap memory (about 550 bytes). SoundPk is automatically install in a folder called Extensions int he extras drawer. When installed, additional sounds are available in AlarmPak's prefs.

  A small freeWare app for someone who is having a baby -- This package will time and record the start/stop times for contractions, and will calculate the duration and frequency of the contractions.
• Calendar Marker 3.00
  Do you ever wish you could tell when you have meetings and anniversaries (day notes), just by glancing at the small calendar displayed in the upper right corner of the Dates display? You know, just like those $50 pocket organizers that put boxes around anniversary dates, and little marks at the top or bottom of a day with a meeting in the morning or afternoon? -- Calendar Marker does just that!
• DateMan
  DateMan offers the ability to quickly look at all your upcoming events, either by tapping on the button in the NotePad, Names file, or Calendar, or by automatically popping up after a desired sleep interval. In addition, you can easily link any two items together, for examply, a checklist note to a meeting, or several name cards to a particular event. This linking is fully dynamic, and can be modified at any time.

  DateReminder provides a way to keep track of birthdays without needing to enter a name card for each person you want to remember a birthday for. (Available in English and German versions.)

  Until last year, european dalight saving time (dst) stopped on the last sunday in September. This year this was changed, it now stops on the last sunday in October. This little program patches the dst stop month accordingly. Launch EuroDSTPatch and press the 'Change' button. That's all! You can view the change in the Time Zone application. -- Freeware

  Herb Otto has just released DateSum 1.0 -- DateSum (Date Summary) is a days-at-a-glance agenda view for the Newton. It shows all meetings, events and to-do's for the specified upcoming period. While the built-in dates application agenda view is fine for the current day it lacked a robust view of upcoming days (the overview just doesn't cut it). The program is only 24K in size -- Freeware

  Set24 fixes a little flaw in the system: Having to re-select 24-hour style after resetting. It creates a new locale that is selected automatically during a restart.
• SetClock 2.1
  16K BinHex. SetClock is a small program for Newton OS 2.0 that calls one of three time servers, and sets your Newton PDA's clock to a standard time. I suggest filing SetClock in your Setup folder and referencing it as necessary. SetClock uses Newton intelligence to figure out where you are and adjust GMT time to your local time zone. SetClock is simple to use, but provides on-line help if necessary.

Tapping undo will put the old timestamp back on the note and the note will return to its previous position in the roll.
