AlarmClock 2.0 goes far beyond the functionality of the built-in clock feature of the Newton OS 2.0 by adding a significantly louder and more annoying alarm sound. Full screen stop and snooze buttons makes it easy to use AlarmClock 2.0. In addition, users can programmatically stop or snooze AlarmClock using the Newton's power switch. Users can configure the snooze to any delay; also, AlarmClock will automatically turn itself off after a user preset time, thus saving valuable battery life.

AlarmPak captures the Reminder messages from the Dates application and handles these message much better than the Newton does. AlarmPak lets you set the volume, beep, and frequency of alarms. AlarmPak also remembers an unlimited number of reminder messages, so you don't have to. AlarmPak 2.0 (for Newton OS 2.0) include SoundPak! SoundPak add additional sounds to AlarmPak. SoundPak use very little heap memory (about 550 bytes). SoundPk is automatically install in a folder called Extensions int he extras drawer. When installed, additional sounds are available in AlarmPak's prefs.

Until last year, european dalight saving time (dst) stopped on the last sunday in September. This year this was changed, it now stops on the last sunday in October. This little program patches the dst stop month accordingly. Launch EuroDSTPatch and press the 'Change' button. That's all! You can view the change in the Time Zone application.

This package adds a new action to the action (routing) button on the Notepad called "Timestamp". When you select Timestamp that note is updated to the current date and time. This has the effect of moving it forward in the notepad to the last item in the Notepad paper roll. Tapping undo will put the old timestamp back on the note and the note will return to its previous position in the roll.
