Today's auditions went quite well. Edith Meeks, who has had roles in some of Todd Haynes' films, did a wonderful reading that had me in a happy daze for hours. We would be lucky to work with her. Several other actors whom we saw today deserve consideration as well. We are on a lucky streak. Maybe I'll be able to enjoy this Jazz Fest trip after all.
