The leads that Robin gave me for D2 duplication didn't pan out, but when
I started making random calls, I found a place (DG Systems) that seemed
quite professional and wanted only $98 for the job. ($98 would have
seemed like a lot to me once, but the ten or twenty other quotes I've gotten
were in the $250-$450 range.) Delighted, I dropped the tapes off
after work at their offices near Grand Central Station. They said
the job will be finished tomorrow or Friday, at which point I'll be ready
to ship the video master off for mass VHS duplication.
