I found out today that my tax refund should be considerably higher
than I'd expected, thanks to that "safe harbor" tax law that allows filmmakers
to write off all their expenses over a three-year period. So my worries
about running out of money to finish the film are over, if I can hold out
until the refund arrives.
Today was the deadline for the Gen Art film festival to notify accepted
filmmakers, and I didn't hear anything from them....
