Shared a cab with Grace and got to JFK nice and early. Hooked up with all the choral society people and waited while the weather delayed our flight about 3 hours. Which really sucked as our layover in Paris was only 2 hours.

We made up some time on the flight and actually landed with about 30 minutes to spare. And sat on the runway for 45 minutes. Fortunately, while the airline won't help you out much if you are traveling alone, they will hold a plane for 50 people. They eventually bussed us over to the other gate and we were able to hook up with all the Newark flyers and continue on to Venice.

Joanne met us at the airport and took us on a nice scenic boat ride to the hotel.
