The reception will be on September 14th, 2003 at 4:30 PM. It will take place on a chartered boat, the Cloud Nine, that will depart from the Skyport Marina on East 23rd Street and will cruise the New York City harbor for four hours as we celebrate our joining with the best city in the world as our backdrop!

We never wanted a very large wedding reception, but we felt that if we were going to do one, we should do something a little different. The original idea for doing a reception on a boat came from Dr. Michael Miller, a surrogate father-figure and a friend to Seth for a number of years. The idea has been "floating" (pun not intended) around since early 2003 and has finally come into fruition in the form of a chartered four-hour cruise around Manhattan.

There will be a d.j. on board for our listening pleasure. There is also a large area on the top of the boat for dancing, and a canopy in the event of rain.

Also, because we didn't want a very large reception, we are trying to keep the number of guests low. Our guest list was derived from those of you who have made a favorable and lasting impression on our lives and have helped steer us in the right direction over the course of our lives.
