Notice: In July 2011 I changed how I run Fudge. See VG Fudge. Characters in this system will be marked, both here and on the character sheets, as "VG Fudge".

VG Fudge Characters

As of now I have the following characters in the VG Fudge format:

Standard Fudge Characters

Here are some characters I've used for Convention games throughout the years. You're welcome to use these for your own games, either personal or at conventions, but you may not publish them without my permission.

Cinematic Level: all of these characters have only one "Hurt" wound status box. If you wish a more "cinematic" game, add a "Hurt" wound status box to each character.

Printing: It's probably not a good idea to print them directly from your browser - they're not set up to be a single page because of the page title and references. I have looked at the Bunny characters with Netscape, and they do appear on a single page, with the references largely on a second page, so you probably could get away with printing them right from the browser - but I can't guarantee it, and recommend you use Print Preview before trying it.

But if you import them into your word processor, you can print them out fairly painlessly by

  1. deleting the title and references to other pages,
  2. setting margins quite small (1/2 inch all around in US measurement),
  3. selecting all text and converting it to a monospaced font, such as a Courier, and
  4. while you've got all the text selected, setting the font size until it fits - I find 11-point works well.

Three Musketeers Characters

The rest of this section is devoted to the characters in standard Fudge.]

French forenames for your games

Bunnies & Burrows Characters (A fantasy version of Watership Down)

[In my VG Fudge system: all eight Bunnies in a PDF document.
The rest of this section is devoted to the characters in standard Fudge.]

Note: Many of these Bunny characters were changed significantly July 13, 1998 and again March 29, 2008. There was an inbalance in character power (due to my own bias for playing Scouts!), which has been addressed somewhat. Some characters may still be better than others, but not overwhelmingly so at this point.
